The idea for Heart to Ground came from one trip that changed everything.
When floods hit Texas, I packed my car with donations and drove from Nebraska — not sure what I’d find, just knowing I needed to help. I ended up in the middle of muck outs, clearing homes, delivering supplies, and witnessing both heartbreak and hope.
That experience stayed with me. It showed me the power of simply showing up — with hands ready and heart open.
Heart to Ground was born from that moment. It’s not a big organization — just real people helping real people, one act of service at a time.
If you’re here, you’re part of this. However you choose to support, thank you for showing up.
